Before continuing on place two boxes on the magnetic field just above. Next use Pontius to slam down through the portals to gain height so he can pick up Orbs and make it up to the next ledge. After the cut-scene continue to the right and place boxes on the magnetic wheel so you can make it up to the ledge to the right. Then use the ring to swing up to the ledge above. Once again use a dream shield and planks to block the three red light emitters. Head back down and continue to the right. Take the lift to the top where you’ll find a large Orb and Eerie Puppet. Place planks on the dream shield to block the red light and another one on the moving magnetic wall to make a lift. When you get up place a box down and place a Dream Shield down while standing on top of it. Instead upgrade Pontius to the Magnetic Dream Shield and use it to make a bridge up to the ledge above. Use planks on the magnetic wall to block the red light and so you can pick up all of the Orbs.Ĭontinue to the right for a battle with Shadow Creatures, then use the Dream Shield and Shield to deflect the light to the sensors so the gate on the platform to the right opens.Ĭlimb up but don’t go through yet. Place a block on the red light and dash across.ĭeflect the red light to the red sensor for a Jar and then place two blocks on the red light emitters to block the red light so you can jump across. Hit the wall to the right and go through. Head into the building to the right and deflect the light up to the sensor to release a few experience Jars. Our only other complaint is that you’ll struggle with glare if you’re using it outside, which could make headshots a problem when you’re spraying bullets at enemies. In general use and gaming, the Shield’s screen is still sharp and pleasant to look at, and you shouldn’t have any complaints. Generally though, you only notice this sort of stuff when you’re meticulously comparing different screens side by side. Next to an iPad Air, whites on the Shield look positively dark and creamy, and are begging for a sprinkle of Daz. The difference in whites is even more noticeable. ![]() While IPS panels can never match the true blacks of an AMOLED display, blacks on the Shield’s screen look more of a dark grey in comparison to the iPad Air. The same can’t be said for the contrast however. Not unless you spend the majority of your time tapping away at the screen with your nose that is.Ĭolours on the Shield’s bright display are well-balanced, serving up bright, vivid hues without suffering from unrealistic oversaturation. In general use however, you won’t notice its lower 283 ppi count. The Shield Tablet’s 8in Full HD IPS screen looks lacklustre on paper when compared to the likes of 2K slates like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
